Style & Details
Each jacket begins with kantha fabric – recycled cotton quilts that are layered and hand-stitched to create a soft, textured textile full of depth and history. Because it’s fully reversible, you get two looks in one. One side shows off bold patchwork and visible hand embroidery, while the reverse reveals a quieter, more understated design.
Wide sleeves offer a relaxed feel and can be rolled back to highlight the contrasting lining. Two front patch pockets bring function and a laid-back edge. Thanks to its slightly cropped, boxy silhouette, this jacket slips easily over dresses, trousers, or your everyday denim.
Whether you’re dressing up or winding down, this kantha fabric jacket moves with you – comfortable, conscious, and full of soul.
Craft & Character
Kantha fabric is steeped in tradition. Each jacket carries signs of the maker’s hand—visible stitches, layered textures, and small imperfections that give it soul. These are one-of-a-kind garments, shaped by time and repurposed with intention.
Made in small batches, no two are ever alike. The artistry of kantha speaks of sustainability, creativity, and a slower way of dressing.
Wear It Your Way
Lightweight yet warm, this kantha fabric jacket is perfect for transitional weather or indoor layering. Whether worn on a walk, to work, or out for the day, it brings an easygoing beauty to your wardrobe. A piece with heart, history, and effortless style.

Each jacket begins with vintage kantha quilts – hand-embroidered textiles that are between 30 and 80 years old. These reclaimed layers carry history, texture, and soul.
Because every quilt is different, no two jackets are ever the same. Patterns shift, colours vary, and each one features its own distinct kantha stitch style running across the surface.
We create these jackets in small, limited-edition batches. The image shown reflects the style and colourway of this particular piece.
To keep things simple and clear, each jacket is listed individually. Once it’s gone, it’s truly gone – so if this one catches your eye, now’s the time to make it yours.
Kantha stitching began over 500 years ago in Eastern India, especially in Bengal, as a practical way to reuse worn-out textiles. Women layered old saris, dhotis, and household cloths, then stitched them together by hand to create quilts that added both warmth and comfort to daily life.
Rather than throwing fabric away, they gave it new purpose – salvaging even the threads from other garments to complete the embroidery. Every piece of kantha reflects this mindful, hands-on approach. Each stitch carries a story, rooted in tradition and shaped by necessity, turning simple cloth into something lasting and meaningful.
